Miss Bulgarka in USA 2013

Bulgarian Women Club in New York is  proud to announce the Second Annual Talent/Beauty Pageant organized to inspire the Bulgarian Community for a deeper understanding of its distinctive presence in the US. Miss Bulgarka in USA 2013 intends to present an opportunity for young women to express their viewpoints, talents, accomplishments, and to show their radiant beauty to the world.

The winner will walk away with $5000 in cash and a pair of custom made Gio Diev designer shoes, among many other prizes!

We are excited to welcome you as a participant in Miss Bulgarka in USA 2013 Talent/Beauty Pageant.

To compete you must:

    be between the ages of 18 and 30
    be  a Bulgarian citizen or have Bulgarian heritage
    be able to speak Bulgarian
    have a permanent address in USA
    be an active part of the Bulgarian Community in the state or town where you live
    meet Miss Bulgarka in USA 2013 requirements

Requirements:

    two recent photographs (headshot and a full body)
    short description of yourself and why you want to participate
    do a short performance (dancing, singing, playing an instrument etc.), or present a hobby or portfolio with your skill (painting, drawing, design, athletic achievements, etc.).

The application deadline is May 1st, 2013.

After receiving all submissions, we will ask the community to vote for a favorite participant and 20 finalists will be selected in the process. They will be invited to participate in our Gala Contest Event in New York City which will culminate in the selection of Miss Bulgarka in USA 2013. The ceremony will be held on 25th of May, 2013, 7:00 pm at Metropolitan Pavilion (North)  in New York City.   North Pavilion – 110 West 19th Street, New York, NY 10011
